Background Check Status Questions

HR Background Check Unit staff usually process background checks within two to four business days after the Live Scan date and the Accurate Background package completion date.

Please email the information below to HR-Backgroundchecks@rivco.org for background check status questions:

  • Fingerprinting/Live Scan Date and
  • Accurate Background Package Completion Date

Candidate Questions

HR Background Check Unit Staff do not provide background checks results or status information directly to candidates.  Candidates should contact the person who requested the background check (i.e., the recruiter or volunteer manager) for questions about the status of their background check.  The requestor may then contact Background Checks Unit Staff directly.

Background Check Unit Staff will contact by postal mail any candidate who may be disqualified as a result of the backgroud check.
